Juan Diaz Rivera comes from a distinguished family of visionaries and innovators.

Introduced to real estate development and marketing at an early age, he quickly carved out his own path—becoming a founding partner of Capella Pedregal, now known as the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, one of Mexico’s most acclaimed luxury resorts.

For over a decade, Juan served as Chief Operating Officer of Grupo Riveras, a real estate firm behind several high-profile joint ventures, including Pedregal de Cabo San Lucas—the first luxury residential community in Los Cabos—and Pedregal de La Paz.

Today, Juan remains deeply engaged in the real estate sector through Artifex.Team, where he leads business development across its Hospitality, Brokerage, and Development divisions. His recent ventures include the development of 1 Hotel & Homes Cabo, a landmark project redefining sustainable luxury in the region.
