The project will utilize domestic water in a 100% self-sufficient manner without using harmful chemicals for treatment. By using local and renewable materials the construction of the project will emit 84% less greenhouse gases than conventional construction. Thermally efficient materials will take advantage of the micro-climate in the area reducing the need and use for air conditioning.

TALLER HÉCTOR BARROSO The work of Taller Héctor Barroso seeks to generate architectural proposals that are rooted in its environment, taking advantage of the natural resources of each location: the incidence of light and shade, surrounding vegetation, geographical features, and construction materials and methods of the site. Thus, the architecture emerges in harmony with the site, generating spaces with emotional content that evoke memory, highlighting the habitable quality of the architectural exercise.
